2022-2023 Graduation Ceremony Held for Islamic Studies Students

A graduation ceremony was held for the students graduating from the Islamic Studies (100% Arabic) and Islamic Studies (Turkish) programs this year, taking place at the Central Campus.

The ceremony was attended by the Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Provincial Mufti İlyas Yılmaztürk, the Dean Prof. Dr. Cahit Külekçi, faculty members, and the families of our students. The ceremony, held at the Central Campus, began with the recitation of the Quran by our faculty member, Dr. Agah Terzi. Following this, Rector Bahçekapılı congratulated the graduating students and wished them success and happiness in their future lives. Emphasizing that graduation does not signify the end of their connection with the university, Bahçekapılı reminded the students that the university's doors would always be open to them.

Dean Külekçi, in his speech, stated that the graduates of the Islamic Studies program should take on more responsibilities than others and praised the graduates for demonstrating this dedication. Mufti Yılmaztürk also congratulated the students and their families for choosing our faculty and wished them success. After the opening speeches, faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pehlül Düzenli delivered a prayer for the students.

Following this, awards were presented to the top-performing students. Students who ranked in the top three in the Islamic Studies programs received their gifts from Rector Bahçekapılı, and Dean Külekçi. Subsequently, the overall top student of the university, Nadire Gürsoy, who also happened to be the faculty's top student, delivered a brief speech in which she expressed gratitude to her family, teachers, and friends. Then, the diplomas were awarded to the graduating students by our faculty professors, and the ceremony concluded after a photo session.

On this occasion, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the graduating students and wish them success throughout their lives.
