Yalova University Faculty of Theology was established with the proposal of the University Senate dated 05.10.2010 and no. No: 2809, which was published in the Official Gazette dated April 15, 2011 and numbered 27906. Departments within the faculty was opened with the decision of Higher Education Executive Board of Turkey, dated 16.06.2011. Our faculty started education in the 2012-2013 academic year with 60 students in the obligatory Arabic Preparatory Class. Yalova University Faculty of Theology was renamed as “Yalova University Faculty of Islamic Sciences” with the decision of Council of Ministers numbered 2014/5928 published in the Official Gazette on 17 April 2014.
