This year, the first "Arabic Summer Course," which is planned to be continued as a tradition, will take place between July 10 and August 25, 2023, according to the following schedule.

In the course:

  1. Students who are following sarf (morphology) and nahw (syntax) lessons from a specific source in the preparatory class will have the opportunity to review these lessons from different sources throughout this course.
  2. All the words in the books will be presented to our students with diacritics and memorized. Prepared students who memorize the words of the day's lesson the day before will focus only on the rule that the teacher is trying to teach them during the lesson, achieving a high level of productivity.
  3. Special questions prepared to reinforce the sarf and nahw topics covered each day will be solved in the afternoons. With these questions, students will develop their vocabulary through paragraph questions prepared with the idea of preparing for the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam (YDS), including readings on health, sports, economy, tourism, education, animals, plants, current issues, and press readings, while better understanding the topic.
  4. Conversation classes will be held after each grammar lesson, allowing students to relax while also enabling them to speak Arabic more fluently. Thus, they will be better prepared for the classes taught entirely in Arabic in the first year.
  5. Following this training received after the preparatory class, students whose language levels are further advanced will receive a YDS (Foreign Language Proficiency Exam) course throughout the year when the new academic year begins. Through these classes, where real YDS questions will be solved, students will be prepared for the exam.
  6. Students who receive these trainings will be encouraged to take the YDS exam twice a year starting from the second year, ensuring that they graduate from the faculty with a language grade above a certain level.
